Now? The Land of Malls--Manchester, South Windsor. We make nothing and sell everything. Thank you for stumbling onto my blog so that I could stumble here. Your story here needs telling and retelling. When I was little, there was a book called "Fairy Tales: What Happened Next?" We see the Sixty Minutes versions, but rarely know what happened next. I remember this man, vaguely, when it happened back in the 1990's. It was great to have you tell the whole story, with the town playing a part. I have said for years that the jobs being shipped out of this country would be the undoing of our great nation. When people no longer have a way to support their families, society begins to break down, and we become one that relies on the handouts from government, while the rich get richer. All in the name of cheap goods that end up in our landfills. Unfortunately these corporations and banks don't realize that they eventually will destroy hope and anarchy will ensue - eventually affecting them as well. The worm will turn. History tells many of those tales.

I could go on and on, but instead I will say thank you for stopping by my blog and introducing yourself - I look forward to more stories.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13178290697351352495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7834636674346020262.post-56646414678926638132010-01-14T12:03:47.111-05:002010-01-14T12:03:47.111-05:00Fabulous post! In light of our economy meltdown, does any CEOs stop to think maybe the all-for-profit model is so wrong that the only thing it encourages is greed?
